When I was growing up, my mom consistently told me interesting things about my Grandma on my dad’s side of the family.
I was seriously impressed to learn things about her, because she grew up under difficult circumstances in a rough time period.
One of the things that my mom consistently told me was how taxing my Grandma consistently worked, but she consistently had a job, even though that was not normal for the times. She acquired her own paycheck and she was smart enough to keep herself financially independent from my Grandpa by hiding some of her paycheck currency every week. My mom consistently told me these stories, however we never certainly knew where my Grandma hid her stash. Sadly, last year the time came for my Grandma to move into assisted living… When we were relocating her, I finally solved the mystery of her currency hoarding; it was in the vents. My buddy and I were carefully moving all of her belongings out of the apartment when I realized that the indoor air temperature was swiftly climbing and growing quite stagnant in quality. I could barely breathe in this hot and humid air, so I went over to the outdated control unit to see if I could get the outdated university a/c to kick into gear. I was playing with the control unit dials however nothing was happening with the indoor air quality. I could hear the A/C unit running, so I decided to investigate the ductworks. When I held my hand up to the air vent, I realized that barely any air was coming through. I opened the air vent to see what the obstruction was, and found a massive envelope with currency taped to the back of it. I found numerous more of these hidden throughout the air vents in the outdated house. My buddy and I took all the currency and put it in an account for my Grandma. Now she can finally use that taxing acquired currency.
